JANICE MCGLOINE - RESIDENT ARTIST

Lancashire born Janice is a self taught artist who has been painting professionally since 1993. She paints in her cosy studio / gallery which is set in the garden of The Wolfhouse where she welcomes visitors to watch her at work on her latest piece.

Inside, you will find a wide selection of her original paintings, quality giclee prints, cards, hand painted gifts and an ever changing selection of carefully chosen interesting bits and bobs.

She finds plenty of inspiration in this Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The ever changing coastline and unspoilt woodlands are a constant revelation and her atmospheric land and seascapes reflect this.

Initially specialising in animal portraits, she now has a varied portfolio and is fast becoming known for her "quirky" style paintings and prints of local villages and scenes. Her unique style and gentle colour palette is instantly recognisable and reflects the timeless quality of this beautiful part of the country.
